yeah he was quoting the old saying. obama is referring to the ';change'; that McCain is promising. but everything in his policies are similar to bushes so he is ';putting lipstick'; on the pig in an effort to hide that fact. totally agree
yes but let's call a spade a spade. obama made a stupid statement and he got busted. whether it was a direct comparison or not, it was a stupid thing to say.
It is a very popular saying. Mr. McCain himself used that same expression while talking about Hilary Clinton in recent past.
