Is Red Lipstick Too Much for a 16 year old?

Yes, too much for a 16 year old ...... she should start with a gloss first and wear that when she is older ...... = )Is Red Lipstick Too Much for a 16 year old?
Red lipstick normally looks tacky on anyone, and was recently voted one of the biggest turn off's by men. The best natural, and yet still the best looking product of lips is Vaseline, it's cheap, protects the lips, and still makes them supple and soft. I'm afraid red lipstick will probably only draw negative reactions. Why not try mixing Vaseline with a SMALL amount of red lipstick, you should get the result of a very light pinky colour, which won't be too over the top.

Good luck!Is Red Lipstick Too Much for a 16 year old?
Not if you wear it the right way or are at a certain occasion. Red lipstick is hard to pull of on some people, but you can usually find a shade coordinating to your skin tone. I don't think it should be worn on a daily basis and age has nothing to do with it. I wore red lipstick when I was 8 just to make me feel confident !!! =]
Yes I think it is. I am only 20 myself but the red lip stick is way too much you dont want to be known for the bright lipstick make p is great but you need to wear things that go with your skin tone to make you look beautiful rather than the bright red looking trashy especially at so young
It depends on your style and your maturity. I rocked red lipstick all throughout high school starting at age 14. It was my favorite color at one time. I never thought twice about it though and always got compliments. Now is the time to explore who you are not to let other people put you into an 'age 16' box. Put it on at home. If you don't like it, don't wear it.
Only if u wear it every day but if u wear it jus once in a while to more formal events its fine.... try a lip tint or a gloss.

every day=http://entimg.msn.com/i/gal/WeekInPh鈥?br>

btw use some lip liner 2 keep it from gettin everywhere
I don't think lipstick is attractive ';everyday wear'; for any young person. Our lips still have color and it looks really ODD to me.

Colored lipgloss is better.

BUT NOT RED.

Very outdated.
Not really, as long as the child understands that when wearing make up the key is to look like you don't have any on.
Yeah - on teens, lipstick makes people look a lot older.
Red may not b the right colour for a teenager! U can try out gloss of perhaps pink, peach or a light chocolate colour. The glittery gloss may make u feel n look like a rockstar!!!
yeah, sorry

It all depends on the shade of red, if it is not to dark then no but you don't want like blood red.
No it can be cute, as long as you keep other makeup to a minimum.
Kinda, because a red shade is kinda for adults.

Don't grow up too fast!!
yes yes yes.....most definitly
it depends on your skin type.

but

i wouldn't do lipstick

do lipgloss.
depending on how bright it is.

i would say yes it's too much, but some people can pull it off
I dont think so but it might be depending on the looks
depends on what ur wearing, some colors go with some outfits better than other colors.
yeah too much if it is in the morning, but in the night it's ok
i think it depends on ur style.

and how much of the other kinds of makeup u r using
i think it's only looks right when you're going to a dance.

i've never met a high schooler that wore lip stick anyways.
