I like Nico the best! She's real, funny, sassy, runs with her emotions, and loves with her whole heart. Her storyline is the most interesting right now. Question about Max Factor Lipfinity Lipstick?
I bought my wife Lipfinity by Max Factor. It's a long lasting lipstick. She put it on and it wouldn't come off. It took over 12 hours for it to even fade. I like the way it looks but is there a way to get it off sooner?Question about Max Factor Lipfinity Lipstick?

Secondly, when she goes to remove it at night, any baby oil, makeup remover or vaseline will do the trick.. she just neds to put some on the lip and then let it set about 30 seconds and then wipe off.. it will work great ESPECIALLY if her lips are exfoliated first. Sorry. Not to be rude or anything, but I wouldn't get that much lipstick. If you were really looking to be pretty...get some lipgloss, eyeshadow,and maybe some blush...and your good to go. Demi wears too much lipstick. Plus...you don't need to wear the same lipstick as celebrities to be cool. be yourself :)

I think that a moderate pink or a dark red would look fine on you. But red has never made a good impression on me. Go to a Mary Kay party and get some advise on make up in general. You are a very pretty girl to begin with. So I think that you will not need a lot like some girls wear. The caked on make up on any girl looks trashy to me. Good Luck.

I think lipstick would be a distraction more than anything else and why would you want to take away from your beautiful face. For your eyes, I'd recommend MAC eyeshadow in Carbon, Vellum, and Urban Decay's 'Oil Slick' black.
Do the lower third of your lid in Carbon (ONLY up TO the crease), put a thin line of Oil Slick in the crease, and blend those two together well. You don't want any harsh lines with this. Use Vellum on your browbone, and then with a clean brush, apply Vellum over the black, also. Vellum has a color-shift quality to it, going from white to purple. You will definitely need a good mascara--MAC's Dazzle Lash in Black Dazzle is a good one.
For your lips, I'd suggest either going with a stained look (MAC See-Through Lip Color in Rose De Sheer gives a nice, berry-stained look) or put a berry/plum sheer gloss on, and then use a lip brush to apply a small amount of black lipstick over top of that.
For red lipstick, I'd recommend a cherry red or true red for you. No tomato or orange-y reds, though. Reds look great when blended with a bit of black; I also like to mix pink and black. Women always stop me and ask what lipcolor I'm wearing, and they are shocked when I mention black! YSL has just come out with a black gloss, but I always buy mine at Halloween (usually six tubes at a time lol)
You can do endless combinations of colors--for instance, for my wedding I used the red side of MAC's 'Milady' palette, Flammable Paint, and black eyeshadow to create a red-and-black look. I finished it off with red lipstick with red glitter gloss on top of that. You can even use brights (on a goth? shocking!)--yellow fading to orange to red; on the lower third of your eyelid, and use a nude lipstick with a bit of orange or yellow blended out from the center of your lower lip. Just try to keep the color family together on lips and eyes; blues are good with violets and black but not with reds or oranges.

I think the stuff you have on your lips looks nice! If you really want a nice, blood red lipstick, I'd get a Red Lipgloss from MAC. They last a long time. Something like a blood red rose would be nice for you. Not too dark. Just take one with you when you go out to buy one. That's pretty goth.

i would personally go for both; if you want heavier eye make up, go for bronzes/ browns or purples, as that will help to bring out the blue in your eyes, and wear a neutral lip colour, such as a nude or soft pink. if you want more natural eye make up, just wear dark mascara and eye liner on your lower lash line, and again have natural lips. depending on your outfit, you could experiment with darker lip colours, such as more crimson pinks or plum tones, as you seem to have good, full lips anyway. hope this helps :)
Eye makeup as you have pretty eyes and should make them stand out! A light eyeshadow (somethign that goes with whatever you wear) and a black mascara and eyeliner both on the top lid only to really make your eyes pop. With a little lipgloss just for some shine =)

It is extremely difficult for me to find a lipstick that is not too overbearing for my complexion. If I wear a bold red, it is too vibrant.. and I am too dark for a sheer pink. What color would you suggest? I would also like to know from someone who knows about make up, whether my skin has red undertones or yellow.

I've heard that bright red lipstick looks great on people with pale skin. Well, I sure do have some white skin so... I'm not sure what to do with the rest of my makeup though? I only wear eyeshadow, mascara and liner, I don't usually do foundation as I have sensitive skin.

I'm much more pale than you and I wear various shades of red lipstick all the time. For a bright red, try Cherries in the Snow by Revlon. It looks good on the super-pale, sour cream colored types such as myself. I wear that when I'm off work or I have a date. For everyday wear at work in a ';straight red'; as I call it, Avon makes one called ';Crimson'; that I think almost anyone could get away with wearing and look great. For job interviews or other occasions where you want to tone it down a bit, go for more of a wine or cinnamon shade. Right now I'm hooked on Max Factor's ';Wine Shimmer'; (#430) for the more toned-down occasions.
If you only want to use one red lipstick all the time, I'd definitely go for the Avon shade ';Crimson';. Otherwise, buy a few different shades and swap them out depending on what else you're wearing (I wear a lot of black, so the reds look very dramatic with that and the pale skin I got going on) and the situation.
EDIT: Forgot to mention - If you have an Ulta store near you, buy your lipsticks there. If a shade doesn't work for you, you can return it. You can return just about anything at Ulta if you don't like it. It took me nearly a month to realize I was allergic to my new facial foam cleaner and they took it back even though the bottle was nearly empty by then. Just a handy thing to know when you're trying new shades...Would bright red lipstick work? (pics)?
It might work, but I suggest putting on another layer of clear lipgloss(just a little) and smudge it a little bit around the corners to make your lips look a bit more plump(your lips are relatively thin). And the best brand for bright red lipsticks I've came across would be Shu Uemura, their lipsticks won't settle into the wrinkles on your lip.
Your skin tone, eye color and hair color would allow you to do a red lip. You're going to have to apply a foundation as an uneven complexion never goes well with a red lip. Estee Lauder carries a great rich red lip gloss called ';Cranberry';. I would do a winged liquid eyeliner as well with a shimmery nude shadow and wear your hair up and out of your face. I'm much more pale than you and I wear various shades of red lipstick all the time. For a bright red, try Cherries in the Snow by Revlon. It looks good on the super-pale, sour cream colored types such as myself. I wear that when I'm off work or I have a date. For everyday wear at work in a ';straight red'; as I call it, Avon makes one called ';Crimson'; that I think almost anyone could get away with wearing and look great. For job interviews or other occasions where you want to tone it down a bit, go for more of a wine or cinnamon shade. Right now I'm hooked on Max Factor's ';Wine Shimmer'; (#430) for the more toned-down occasions.
If you only want to use one red lipstick all the time, I'd definitely go for the Avon shade ';Crimson';. Otherwise, buy a few different shades and swap them out depending on what else you're wearing (I wear a lot of black, so the reds look very dramatic with that and the pale skin I got going on) and the situation.
EDIT: Forgot to mention - If you have an Ulta store near you, buy your lipsticks there. If a shade doesn't work for you, you can return it. You can return just about anything at Ulta if you don't like it. It took me nearly a month to realize I was allergic to my new facial foam cleaner and they took it back even though the bottle was nearly empty by then. Just a handy thing to know when you're trying new shades...Would bright red lipstick work? (pics)?
It might work, but I suggest putting on another layer of clear lipgloss(just a little) and smudge it a little bit around the corners to make your lips look a bit more plump(your lips are relatively thin). And the best brand for bright red lipsticks I've came across would be Shu Uemura, their lipsticks won't settle into the wrinkles on your lip.
Your skin tone, eye color and hair color would allow you to do a red lip. You're going to have to apply a foundation as an uneven complexion never goes well with a red lip. Estee Lauder carries a great rich red lip gloss called ';Cranberry';. I would do a winged liquid eyeliner as well with a shimmery nude shadow and wear your hair up and out of your face. ~Tarte- natural beauty cheek stain. Get the dark red one. It gives you a pretty reddish flush that looks really enhances your skin and looks natural.
~Bronzer... I'd say either get a NARS bronzer or a Bare Minerals one. Not sure what your skin looks like, so its hard to say recommend one. But since your dress is ivory make sure you don't get anything too orange based because it will clash.
~Dior Show mascara (get waterproof if you plan on crying!) Your eyelashes will look amazing.
~As for lipstick.... this is a hard one because I haven't seen your picture, but make sure your lipstick doesn't clash with the dahlia. Example, if you are wearing a peach colored dahlia DON'T wear coral colored lipstick. So I would recommend getting a NARS ';velvet matte lip pencil'; It's basically looks like a big lip pencil but its actually more like lipstick. Buy a similar gloss to wear over it. You don't have to do that, but it will look very pretty. I have this in ';Cruella'; which is an awesome red color. I put on a veryy light coat of it yesterday, went out walking, went to the market, came home and it was still looked good.
~Eyeshadow.... MAC eyeshadow is AMAZING because they stays on forever and are so vivid and easy to blend. I also like Stila and NARS. I would get something with tawny colors, browns, taupes, light coppers, matte golds.... Just remember to balance your lips and your eyes. ie. Dark lips and dark eyes looks clownish (most of the time) and nude/lighter lips look great with dark eyes. Just don't overdo it!
~Eyeliner: Tarte- emphasEYES high definition eye pencil. It is super slim and creates really nice lines.

Thats my physical description as well and for my wedding I did beige eye shadow with some shimmer to it with red lips and black waterproof mascara (my wedding was outside, hence the shimmer) I did a bit of blush as well by using my lipstick (you pat a little onto your ring finger, smile, and pat it onto the apples of your cheeks. Don't do this the day of without trying it prior just in case you're allergic to the lipstick. This looks awesome cause it matches your lips perfectly.)

lipstick: wet n' wild #509A (i belive its called cinnamon)

Anything like Audrey is gorgeous. i'd suggest marylin monroe too, and you may find something you like with her but being as your hair is closer to audrey's i'd start there. just start thinkign your favourite 50's 60's movies and go from there.
Also, Dita Von Tesse has a very pin up look to her, maybe check out some of her current styles. It's modern with that very 50's pin up look to her.

Well, I've been wearing it for quite a while, and I absolutely LOVE it. It makes me stand out from the crowd and perfectly compliments my firey,spicey personality. The problem is, people always diss me for it! Even my best friends are mean about it and tell me aweful things people have said about me! This one girl from school makes fun of me in front of all her friends everytime she sees me!

to tell you the truth, i think the bright red lipstick looks too bright against dark hair, any color. try switching to lip gloss, it works much better, and it makes your lips pink and shiny, and it doesn't stand out that much. go to ulta.com and type in Palladio lip gloss and different shades will come up, they're under 10 dollars... good luck!

I like it, I think you really do pull it off well. (I am being honest.) But the rule of makeup is - only try to show off one feature. That means only wear something bold or a lot of something on one feature..could be your lips, cheeks, eyes, or overall skin. Just lay off the heavy eyeliner..that egyptian look isn't working for you.
I think you should do whatever you want to do, no matter what anybody else thinks, but if the teasing starts to bother you, then I would just change it up into something else that makes you also stand out

Don't be swayed by how ';cute'; you think he is because by what he is telling you he's trying to make you look like some kind of a freak. So think about it. Why would someone take your natural beauty and mess it up by suggesting that you wear black lipstick? The bigger issue is his motives in telling you to do to yourself something that really isn't in your best interest. Frankly, this guy doesn't seem that cute at all and you shouldn't be so gullible just because you think he is. Don't be swayed by how ';cute'; you think he is because by what he is telling you he's trying to make you look like some kind of a freak. So think about it. Why would someone take your natural beauty and mess it up by suggesting that you wear black lipstick? The bigger issue is his motives in telling you to do to yourself something that really isn't in your best interest. Frankly, this guy doesn't seem that cute at all and you shouldn't be so gullible just because you think he is. Scrape as much as you can off of the fabric. Do you have any make-up remover? Try some on a hidden area of the couch, then try it on the lipstick if it doesn't cause a color change on the hidden area. Blot, blot. blot with a clean cloth until you get up as much as possible. If you use Dawn dishsoap, mix the soap with equal amount of water and apply with a cloth. Work from the outside to the inside of the stain. Dawn cuts grease, and lipstick has a lot of oils (grease) in it.
If it still looks a mess, use something to cover the armrests....doilies, placemats that could function as armrest covers, napkins, etc. If you have time to make a run to Walmart, they have all kinds of napkins and such, so that you can find something that matches the couch. Then hit the fabric department and get those teeny fabric tacks that screw in to the couch and screw the napkins or whatever onto the couch.

So I have a choir performance coming up, and my teacher requires that we wear a tinted lipstick (not clear gloss) since the lights that are on our faces will wash us out. If it was a big choir performance, then I would just sneak by without, but this is one just for our Vocal Jazz group of 16 girls, and I am on the very end closest to the audience. (fun. lol)

Besides, dudes like a girl with natural beauty, instead of makeup caked on. And wearing lipstick makes it hard for them to kiss you. They don't want all that lipstick on them.

Hmm i think the nude colored lipstick is fine. but nothing like blood red color! but i just think lip gloss is for everyday the lipstick can be for nights out :]

There is no reason for a nine year old to want to wear lipstick for any of those reasons. None at all. This generation is exposed to so much now as opposed to past years. They think they are mature at a younger age. I remember when girls were twelve and thirteen before lipgloss and lipstick became an issue. That standard is dropping every year.

She's getting to the age where you're not a little kid anymore and you just want to be older. It's not abnormal at all.
